We join the world in celebrating the life and comedy of
DON RICKLES
May his memory bring a smile to us all.
I wonder if he ever insulted Ella?

Ella and Don were guests with Johnny Carson on his Tonight Show on April 28, 1976.
(that was 3 days after her birthday... and it's almost time for the 100th anniversary of her birth!)
I would bet that Ella and Don ran into each at Nate n' Al's Deli in Beverly Hills, where they both lived.
(Ella thought that Nate n' Al's had the best tuna salad in L.A.)
Donations in memory of Don Rickles can be made here.

ELLA AT 100!
THE CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION
officially begins on April 25, 2017
(Ella was born on April 25, 1917)

Full Schedule:

We hope that all of Ella’s fans around the world will do something to celebrate.
Maybe a special concert.
A poetry or essay contest for the kids.
A big old-fashioned sing-along would be fun.
We promise to post about your celebration on Facebook.

We have already heard that the Smithsonian will be celebrating.
Here in L.A., the Grammy Museum is planning to join the fun.

Plus, the Los Angeles Philharmonic wants in.
And our friends at the Jazz Education Network are going to celebrate BIG TIME!

We’d love to hear from YOU. Send us an email and let us know how YOU plan to celebrate.
