In New York and Las Vegas – The U.S. Postal Service will be celebrating the release of the new Frank Sinatra stamp on May 13th. Yes, Ella’s dear friend,“Ol’ Blue Eyes”, is coming back again! For information, try www.usps.com

Ella at Disney Hall - March 2008
Remember the days when Ella performed with "Jazz at the Philharmonic"? Well, it's time to head back to the concert hall, so plan to be in L.A. on Sunday, March 2nd when there will be a tribute to Ella at the Walt Disney Concert Hall at 7:30pm. If you've never attended at performance at this magnificent auditorium, you are in for such a treat! Ella's Birthday Concert (the one that took place on April 29th) will be broadcast around the country on public television stations. Please consult your local station for time and date. The DVD of the concert will be available for sale!
September 10th - Make plans now to attend the Society of Singer's ELLA AWARD on September 10th in Beverly Hills. This year, the "ELLA" goes to Gladys Knight! Please visit www.singers.org for more information.
June 27th - will be on TV! June 27th at 2pm (PDT), on the local Santa Monica, California channel. The show is "Coffee Break" with St. John's Hospital, and if you don't get the Santa Monica channel, don't worry, it will be repeated on the L.A. City local access channel 36.
May 5-6 - "Essentially Ellington" High School Jazz Festival - Essentially Ellington is one of the most successful and far reaching high school jazz programs in the country. Please visit www.jalc.org.org for more information

April 26th: at USC's Galen Center in Los Angeles- a special Ella Fitzgerald Tribute concert. Details to follow.
